Key Responsibilities
- Assist in the delivery of physical therapy services under the supervision of a licensed Physical Therapist
- Implement established treatment plans and document patient progress accurately and in a timely manner
- Provide hands-on therapeutic interventions in an outpatient or clinical setting
- Communicate effectively with the supervising Physical Therapist regarding patient status and any changes in condition
- Maintain compliance with facility policies, documentation requirements, and credentialing standards
Required Qualifications
- Active Physical Therapy Assistant license in the state of Virginia (permanent license required; compact license alone is not sufficient)
- Prior experience working as a Physical Therapy Assistant in a relevant clinical setting
- Ability to meet contract credentialing and quality assurance requirements prior to start
- Ability to work a consistent day shift schedule of 40 hours per week
Preferred Experience / Skills
- Experience in an outpatient physical therapy environment
- Familiarity with electronic documentation systems and clinical compliance standards
