Key Responsibilities
- Assist the supervising Physical Therapist in implementing patient treatment plans
- Provide direct patient care under the direction of a licensed Physical Therapist
- Document patient progress and communicate updates to the supervising therapist
- Maintain a safe and therapeutic environment for patients during treatment sessions
- Wear a valid photo badge and present state or federal issued identification at the facility at all times
Required Qualifications
- Active New Mexico Physical Therapy Assistant (PTA) license
- Valid state or federal issued photo identification required
- Must meet agency credentialing requirements including an active NM caregivers account
- 35-hour weekly guarantee commitment
Preferred Experience / Skills
- Previous experience working in a contract or registry staffing capacity
- Strong documentation and communication skills
- Ability to adapt quickly to facility protocols and patient care environments
