Contract | Days | Monday–Thursday 8:00 AM–5:00 PM & Friday 8:00 AM–2:30 PM | Hours may vary based on patient schedule
Key Responsibilities
- Provide physical therapy assistant services within an outpatient rehabilitation department
- Deliver patient care in accordance with treatment plans established by the supervising Physical Therapist
- Adapt daily schedule based on patient volume and individual patient scheduling needs
- May be required to float within the facility or to nearby affiliate locations as needed
- Expect to work some holidays as part of the assignment schedule
Required Qualifications
- Active South Carolina PTA licensure at time of submission — no pending licenses accepted
- BLS certification required
- Minimum of 2 years of experience required
- First-time travelers are welcome to apply
- 2 supervisory references required
- Must live at least 50 miles from the facility to be eligible (locals accepted at local rate)
- Former permanent staff must have been separated for at least 5 years before being eligible to return as a traveler
Preferred Experience / Skills
- Experience in an outpatient rehabilitation setting
- Ability to maintain a flexible schedule with minimal time-off requests, particularly during the first two weeks of assignment
