Travel Physical Therapy Assistant (PTA) - $75,920 to $99,320 per year in Kent, WA

Minimum Requirements:

• Associate's degree in physical therapy from an accredited educational program.
• Active Washington State PTA license required to start the position.
• BLS certification from the American Heart Association or American Red Cross may be required.
• Home health experience preferred.
• Experience with OASIS documentation, assessments, and ICD-10 coding.
• Ability to complete initial patient history, evaluations, and communicate treatment changes with physicians.
• Experience supervising or directing PTAs and Home Health Aides as assigned.

Responsibilities:

• Provide physician-ordered care and implement plan of care under the direction and supervision of the Director of Clinical Services.
• Collaborate with home care personnel in patient care planning.
• Direct and supervise Physical Therapy Assistants and Home Health Aides as assigned.
• Take initial patient history and perform initial evaluations.
• Consult with physicians regarding changes in treatment.
• Instruct patients and families in home programs and activities of daily living.
• Participate in Quality Assessment and Performance Improvement activities as assigned.
• Complete and submit OASIS assessments, reassessments, transfers, resumptions of care, discharges, and documentation for significant changes in condition.
• Appropriately utilize ICD-10 codes in documentation.
