Key Responsibilities of the Physical Therapist Assistant- Conduct gait and balance training
- Implement non-pharmaceutical pain management techniques
- Facilitate care plans to enhance patient functionality efficiently
- Communicate effectively with PT and clinical team
- Recognize signs to prevent patient readmissions
Requirements of the Physical Therapist Assistant- Driver's License and proof of insurance
- PTA: BLS certification
- PTA: NC State License
- Minimum 1 year of Home Health experience
- Experience with HCHB (Homecare Homebase) EMR
