We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Travel Physical Therapist Assistant (PTA) to join our rehabilitation team for a travel assignment. Working under the supervision of a licensed Physical Therapist, the PTA will provide high-quality therapy services to help patients improve mobility, strength, balance, endurance, and overall functional independence.

Responsibilities- Implement individualized treatment plans developed by the supervising Physical Therapist
- Provide therapeutic exercises, gait training, balance activities, strengthening exercises, transfer training, and functional mobility interventions
- Monitor patient response to treatment and communicate progress or concerns to the supervising Physical Therapist
- Assist patients in improving strength, mobility, endurance, balance, and functional independence
- Educate patients and caregivers on home exercise programs, mobility techniques, fall prevention, and safety strategies
- Maintain accurate and timely clinical documentation
- Collaborate with Physical Therapists, physicians, nurses, and other members of the interdisciplinary healthcare team
- Participate in care planning and assist with discharge planning as appropriate
- Maintain a safe, clean, and professional therapy environment
- Adapt quickly to new facilities, teams, documentation systems, and patient populations
Requirements- Required: Graduate of an accredited Physical Therapist Assistant program
- Required: Active PTA license in the state of assignment or ability to obtain
- Previous clinical experience preferred
- Strong communication, documentation, organizational, and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work independently while collaborating effectively with the supervising Physical Therapist
- Ability to adapt quickly to new clinical environments
