Key Responsibilities

• Implement physical therapy treatment plans under the supervision of a licensed Physical Therapist
• Provide direct patient care including therapeutic exercises, manual therapy, and functional mobility training
• Document patient progress and treatment notes in accordance with facility and regulatory standards
• Communicate effectively with the supervising Physical Therapist regarding patient status and plan of care updates
• Educate patients and caregivers on home exercise programs and safe functional techniques

Required Qualifications

• Active California Physical Therapy Assistant (PTA) license required
• Graduate of an accredited Physical Therapist Assistant program
• Current CPR/BLS certification
• Ability to work rotating shifts

Preferred Experience / Skills

• Prior experience in a contract or travel therapy setting
• Strong documentation and time management skills
• Ability to adapt quickly to new clinical environments
