Seeking a motivated and compassionate Physical Therapist Assistant (PTA) for a contract opportunity in a rehabilitation and skilled nursing setting. The PTA will work under the supervision of a licensed Physical Therapist to implement treatment plans, assist patients with therapeutic activities, and help improve mobility, strength, balance, and functional independence.

SHIFT DETAILS

GUARANTEED HOURS & PAY
  • Guaranteed Hours: 35 Hours Per Week
  • Pay Rate: $39.00 - $45.50 per hour
REQUIREMENTS
  • Active Physical Therapist Assistant (PTA) License in good standing
  • Graduate of an accredited Physical Therapist Assistant program
  • Current CPR/BLS certification preferred
  • Previous experience in rehabilitation, skilled nursing, outpatient, home health, or acute care settings preferred
  • Strong communication and patient care skills
  • Ability to work effectively within an interdisciplinary healthcare team
  • Knowledge of rehabilitation techniques, therapeutic exercises, and mobility training
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
  • Implement treatment plans developed by the supervising Physical Therapist
  • Assist patients with therapeutic exercises, gait training, transfer training, and mobility activities
  • Monitor patient progress and report findings to the Physical Therapist
  • Provide balance, strengthening, and endurance training interventions
  • Educate patients and caregivers regarding therapy programs and home exercise plans
  • Maintain accurate and timely treatment documentation
  • Ensure patient safety during therapy sessions
  • Collaborate with therapists, nurses, physicians, and other healthcare professionals
  • Support patients in achieving maximum functional independence and rehabilitation goals
ADDITIONAL INFORMATION
  • Guaranteed 35 hours per week
  • Competitive pay rate of $39.00 - $45.50 per hour
