Job Overview

We are seeking a motivated and compassionate Travel Physical Therapist Assistant (PTA) for a 14-week assignment. The ideal candidate will work under the supervision of a licensed Physical Therapist to deliver therapeutic treatments, assist patients in achieving rehabilitation goals, and support recovery and mobility improvement.

Key Responsibilities
  • Implement treatment plans developed by the supervising Physical Therapist.
  • Assist patients with therapeutic exercises and rehabilitation activities.
  • Monitor patient progress and communicate updates to the Physical Therapist.
  • Educate patients and caregivers on exercise programs and safety techniques.
  • Document patient treatments and responses accurately and timely.
  • Maintain a safe and supportive treatment environment.
  • Collaborate with interdisciplinary healthcare teams to optimize patient outcomes.
  • Ensure compliance with professional, ethical, and regulatory standards.
Requirements
  • Active Physical Therapist Assistant (PTA) License required.
  • Graduate of an accredited Physical Therapist Assistant program.
  • Current BLS certification preferred.
  • Strong patient care and communication skills.
  • Ability to work effectively as part of a multidisciplinary healthcare team.
  • Previous rehabilitation, skilled nursing, or post-acute care experience preferred.
