Seeking a motivated and compassionate Physical Therapist Assistant (PTA) for a contract opportunity in a rehabilitation setting. The PTA will work under the supervision of a licensed Physical Therapist to implement treatment plans, assist patients in achieving rehabilitation goals, and promote improved mobility, strength, and functional independence.

SHIFT DETAILS

GUARANTEED HOURS & PAY
- Guaranteed Hours: 35 Hours Per Week
- Pay Rate: $39.00 - $45.50 per hour
REQUIREMENTS
- Active Physical Therapist Assistant (PTA) License in good standing
- Graduate of an accredited Physical Therapist Assistant program
- Current CPR certification preferred
- Previous rehabilitation, skilled nursing, outpatient, or acute care experience preferred
- Strong communication and documentation skills
- Ability to work effectively within an interdisciplinary healthcare team
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
- Implement treatment plans established by the supervising Physical Therapist
- Assist patients with therapeutic exercises and rehabilitation activities
- Provide gait, balance, transfer, and mobility training
- Monitor patient progress and communicate findings to the Physical Therapist
- Educate patients and caregivers regarding therapy programs and home exercises
- Maintain accurate and timely documentation
- Ensure patient safety during all therapy interventions
- Collaborate with therapists, physicians, nurses, and other healthcare professionals
- Assist patients in achieving maximum functional independence and quality of life
ADDITIONAL INFORMATION
- Guaranteed 35 hours per week
- Competitive pay rate of $39.00 - $45.50 per hour
