Seeking a dedicated Physical Therapist Assistant (PTA) to support the delivery of restorative and rehabilitative therapy services under the direction and supervision of a Physical Therapist. The PTA will assist in implementing treatment plans, monitoring patient progress, and providing therapeutic interventions designed to enhance mobility, function, independence, and quality of life.

GUARANTEED HOURS & PAY
- Guaranteed Hours: 36 Hours Per Week
- Pay Rate: $39.00 - $45.50 per hour
REQUIREMENTS
- Active Physical Therapist Assistant (PTA) License/Certification in good standing
- Graduate of an accredited Physical Therapist Assistant program
- Current CPR certification preferred
- Strong communication and patient care skills
- Ability to work effectively within an interdisciplinary rehabilitation team
- Previous rehabilitation, skilled nursing, outpatient, or acute care experience preferred
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
- Implement physical therapy treatment plans developed by the supervising Physical Therapist
- Administer therapeutic exercises, gait training, balance activities, and mobility interventions
- Monitor patient responses to treatment and report progress or concerns to the Physical Therapist
- Assist patients in improving strength, endurance, coordination, and functional mobility
- Educate patients and caregivers on prescribed exercises and safe mobility techniques
- Maintain accurate and timely treatment documentation
- Assist with equipment setup, maintenance, and patient safety measures
- Collaborate with rehabilitation staff and healthcare professionals to optimize patient outcomes
- Follow established rehabilitation protocols, policies, and regulatory requirements
- Promote patient independence, safety, and quality of life throughout the rehabilitation process
