Key Responsibilities
Provide physical therapy treatment to patients under the supervision of a licensed Physical Therapist
Implement individualized treatment plans and document patient progress accurately
Assist with therapeutic exercises, functional mobility training, and rehabilitative activities
Communicate effectively with the interdisciplinary care team regarding patient status and goals
Required Qualifications
Active Physical Therapy Assistant (PTA) license in the state of South Dakota or compact eligibility
Graduate of an accredited Physical Therapist Assistant program
Ability to work day shift hours for the duration of a 13-week contract assignment
Preferred Experience / Skills
Prior experience in a skilled nursing or long-term care setting
Experience with electronic medical records or PACS documentation systems
