Key Responsibilities
Deliver physical therapy treatments to patients under the direction and supervision of a licensed Physical Therapist
Assist in implementing individualized treatment plans to support patient recovery and functional goals
Monitor and document patient progress, reporting observations to the supervising Physical Therapist
Educate patients and caregivers on home exercise programs and therapeutic techniques
Maintain accurate and timely clinical documentation in accordance with facility and regulatory standards
Required Qualifications
Active Physical Therapy Assistant (PTA) license in the state of California
Graduate of an accredited Physical Therapist Assistant program
Current CPR/BLS certification
Expected 35 hours per week
Preferred Experience / Skills
Prior experience in a contract or travel therapy setting
Strong interpersonal and communication skills
Ability to adapt quickly to new clinical environments and patient populations
