Key Responsibilities
Assist the supervising Physical Therapist in implementing patient treatment plans
Provide therapeutic interventions including exercises, manual therapy, and modalities as directed
Document patient progress accurately and in a timely manner in accordance with facility standards
Communicate effectively with the care team regarding patient status and treatment outcomes
Maintain a safe and supportive environment for patients throughout the course of treatment
Required Qualifications
Active California PTA license in good standing
Current CPR/BLS certification
Graduate of an accredited Physical Therapist Assistant program
Ability to work rotating shifts as scheduled
Preferred Experience / Skills
Previous experience in a contract or travel therapy role
Familiarity with electronic medical records (EMR) systems
Strong interpersonal and communication skills in a team-based care environment
