Key Responsibilities

• Implement physical therapy treatment plans under the supervision of a licensed Physical Therapist
• Assist patients with therapeutic exercises, functional mobility training, and rehabilitative activities
• Monitor and document patient progress, reporting observations to the supervising Physical Therapist
• Educate patients and caregivers on home exercise programs and safe movement techniques
• Maintain accurate and timely clinical documentation in accordance with facility and regulatory standards

Required Qualifications

• Active California Physical Therapy Assistant (PTA) license required
• Graduate of an accredited Physical Therapist Assistant program
• Current BLS/CPR certification
• Ability to work rotating shifts

Preferred Experience / Skills

• Prior experience in a contract or travel therapy setting
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills with patients and multidisciplinary teams
