Key Responsibilities of the Physical Therapist Assistant- Provide rehabilitative care under the supervision of a licensed Physical Therapist
- Follow individualized Plan of Treatment for each patient
- Support clinical collaboration and integrate adaptive equipment to enhance outcomes
- Communicate patient progress to the care team
- Ensure accurate documentation per APTA and regulatory standards
- Participate in quality initiatives and coordinate follow-up services
- Commit to confidentiality, professional development, and timely billing documentation
Requirements of the Physical Therapist Assistant- Current licensure as a Physical Therapist Assistant
- 1 year experience in home health physical therapy preferred
- Commitment to achieving 30 points per week productivity requirement
- Willingness to cover counties: Bexar, Atascosa, Bandera, Comal, Guadalupe, Kendall, Medina, and Wilson
