Seeking a dedicated and compassionate Physical Therapist Assistant (PTA) for a contract opportunity in a rehabilitation setting. The PTA will work under the supervision of a licensed Physical Therapist to implement individualized treatment plans, assist patients in improving mobility and functional independence, and support rehabilitation goals through evidence-based therapeutic interventions.

GUARANTEED HOURS & PAY
- Guaranteed Hours: 35 Hours Per Week
- Pay Rate:$36.00 - $42.00 per hour
REQUIREMENTS
- Active Physical Therapist Assistant (PTA) License in good standing
- Graduate of an accredited Physical Therapist Assistant program
- Current CPR/BLS certification preferred
- Previous experience in rehabilitation, skilled nursing, outpatient, home health, or acute care settings preferred
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Knowledge of therapeutic exercises, gait training, balance activities, and mobility interventions
- Ability to work effectively within an interdisciplinary healthcare team
- Strong organizational and documentation skills
- Commitment to patient-centered care and positive rehabilitation outcomes
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
- Implement treatment plans developed by the supervising Physical Therapist
- Assist patients with therapeutic exercises and rehabilitation activities
- Provide gait training, balance training, transfer training, and mobility interventions
- Monitor and document patient progress toward established goals
- Communicate patient responses and treatment outcomes to the Physical Therapist
- Educate patients and caregivers regarding therapy techniques and home exercise programs
- Maintain accurate and timely treatment documentation
- Ensure patient safety and comfort during therapy sessions
- Collaborate with physicians, nurses, therapists, and other healthcare professionals
- Support patients in achieving maximum functional independence and rehabilitation goals

- Competitive pay rate of $36.00 - $42.00 per hour
