Seeking a dedicated and compassionate Physical Therapist Assistant (PTA) for a contract opportunity in a rehabilitation setting. The PTA will work under the supervision of a licensed Physical Therapist to implement individualized treatment plans, assist patients in improving mobility and functional independence, and support rehabilitation goals through evidence-based therapeutic interventions.

GUARANTEED HOURS & PAY
- Guaranteed Hours: 35 Hours Per Week
- Pay Rate:$36.00 - $42.00 per hour
REQUIREMENTS
- Active Physical Therapist Assistant (PTA) License in good standing
- Graduate of an accredited Physical Therapist Assistant program
- Current CPR/BLS certification preferred
- Previous experience in rehabilitation, skilled nursing, home health, outpatient, or acute care settings preferred
- Strong communication and patient care skills
- Knowledge of therapeutic exercises, mobility training, balance improvement, and rehabilitation techniques
- Ability to work effectively within an interdisciplinary healthcare team
- Strong documentation and organizational skills
- Commitment to patient-centered care and positive rehabilitation outcomes
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
- Implement treatment plans developed by the supervising Physical Therapist
- Assist patients with therapeutic exercises and rehabilitation activities
- Provide gait training, transfer training, balance exercises, and mobility interventions
- Monitor patient progress and communicate findings to the supervising Physical Therapist
- Educate patients and caregivers regarding treatment programs and home exercises
- Maintain accurate and timely treatment documentation
- Ensure patient safety during all therapy sessions
- Collaborate with therapists, nurses, physicians, and other healthcare professionals
- Assist patients in achieving rehabilitation goals and maximum functional independence
- Adhere to all regulatory, professional, and facility standards
