Seeking a dedicated and compassionate Physical Therapist Assistant (PTA) for a contract opportunity in a rehabilitation setting. The PTA will work under the supervision of a licensed Physical Therapist to implement individualized treatment plans, assist patients in improving mobility and functional independence, and support rehabilitation goals through evidence-based therapeutic interventions.

GUARANTEED HOURS & PAY
  • Guaranteed Hours: 35 Hours Per Week
  • Pay Rate:$36.00 - $42.00 per hour
REQUIREMENTS
  • Active Physical Therapist Assistant (PTA) License in good standing
  • Graduate of an accredited Physical Therapist Assistant program
  • Current CPR/BLS certification preferred
  • Previous experience in rehabilitation, skilled nursing, home health, outpatient, or acute care settings preferred
  • Strong communication and patient care skills
  • Knowledge of therapeutic exercises, mobility training, balance improvement, and rehabilitation techniques
  • Ability to work effectively within an interdisciplinary healthcare team
  • Strong documentation and organizational skills
  • Commitment to patient-centered care and positive rehabilitation outcomes
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
  • Implement treatment plans developed by the supervising Physical Therapist
  • Assist patients with therapeutic exercises and rehabilitation activities
  • Provide gait training, transfer training, balance exercises, and mobility interventions
  • Monitor patient progress and communicate findings to the supervising Physical Therapist
  • Educate patients and caregivers regarding treatment programs and home exercises
  • Maintain accurate and timely treatment documentation
  • Ensure patient safety during all therapy sessions
  • Collaborate with therapists, nurses, physicians, and other healthcare professionals
  • Assist patients in achieving rehabilitation goals and maximum functional independence
  • Adhere to all regulatory, professional, and facility standards
ADDITIONAL INFORMATION
  • Guaranteed 35 hours per week
  • Competitive pay rate of $36.00 - $42.00 per hour
