Seeking a motivated and compassionate Physical Therapist Assistant (PTA) for a contract opportunity in a rehabilitation setting. The PTA will work under the direction of a licensed Physical Therapist to implement treatment plans, assist patients with therapeutic exercises, and help individuals maximize mobility, function, and independence.

GUARANTEED HOURS & PAY
  • Guaranteed Hours: 35 Hours Per Week
  • Pay Rate: $36.00 - $42.00 per hour
REQUIREMENTS
  • Active Physical Therapist Assistant (PTA) License in good standing
  • Graduate of an accredited Physical Therapist Assistant program
  • Current CPR certification preferred
  • Previous rehabilitation, skilled nursing, outpatient, or acute care experience preferred
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work effectively within an interdisciplinary healthcare team
  • Strong documentation and patient-care skills
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
  • Implement treatment programs established by the supervising Physical Therapist
  • Assist patients with therapeutic exercises and rehabilitation activities
  • Provide gait training, transfer training, balance training, and mobility interventions
  • Monitor patient progress and communicate findings to the Physical Therapist
  • Educate patients and caregivers on therapy techniques and home exercise programs
  • Maintain accurate and timely documentation
  • Ensure patient safety during all therapeutic activities
  • Collaborate with therapists, nurses, physicians, and other healthcare professionals
  • Promote patient independence and functional recovery
ADDITIONAL INFORMATION
  • Guaranteed 35 hours per week
  • Competitive pay rate of $36.00 - $42.00 per hour
