Description

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide physical therapy assistant services in both inpatient and outpatient settings within a critical access hospital environment
  • Deliver rehabilitative care to a rural patient population across a range of diagnoses and acuity levels
  • Collaborate with interdisciplinary care teams including occupational therapy, respiratory therapy, cardiac rehabilitation, and pulmonary rehabilitation departments
  • Document patient progress and treatment plans in accordance with facility and regulatory standards
  • Support quality patient outcomes in a small-community hospital serving a regional population
Required Qualifications
  • Active Physical Therapist Assistant license in the State of Nebraska or a Compact State
  • Active BLS certification issued through the American Heart Association
Preferred Experience / Skills
  • Experience in acute care or inpatient rehabilitation settings
  • Comfort working in a rural or critical access hospital environment
  • New graduate candidates will be considered
