Description

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide physical therapy assistant services in a community-based outpatient setting, treating patients across all age groups and a broad range of diagnoses
  • Deliver patient care under the supervision of a licensed Physical Therapist in accordance with established treatment plans
  • Build and maintain therapeutic relationships with patients, family members, and colleagues to support positive outcomes
  • Document patient care accurately and in a timely manner using the Cerner EHR system
  • May be required to cover additional outpatient locations within the network as needed
  • Adhere to facility dress code standards, including professional attire and appearance policies
Required Qualifications
  • Active New Jersey Physical Therapist Assistant (LPTA) State License required
  • New graduates will be considered; experience is not required
  • Ability to work with all adult age groups; pediatric experience is a plus but not required - candidates must demonstrate competency if treating pediatric patients
  • Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to establish and foster relationships with patients, families, and team members
Preferred Experience / Skills
  • Prior outpatient physical therapy experience preferred
  • Experience treating a diverse patient population across multiple diagnoses
  • Familiarity with Cerner or similar electronic health record systems
