Seeking a motivated and compassionate Physical Therapist Assistant (PTA) for a contract opportunity in a rehabilitation and skilled nursing setting. GUARANTEED HOURS & PAY
- Guaranteed Hours: 35 Hours Per Week
- Pay Rate: $33.60 - $39.20 per hour
REQUIREMENTS
- Active Physical Therapist Assistant (PTA) License in good standing
- Graduate of an accredited Physical Therapist Assistant program
- Current CPR/BLS certification preferred
- Previous experience in rehabilitation, skilled nursing, outpatient, home health, or acute care settings preferred
- Strong communication and patient care skills
- Knowledge of therapeutic exercises, mobility training, and rehabilitation techniques
- Ability to work effectively within an interdisciplinary healthcare team
- Commitment to patient-centered care and positive clinical outcomes
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
- Implement treatment plans developed by the supervising Physical Therapist
- Assist patients with therapeutic exercises, gait training, transfer training, and mobility activities
- Monitor patient progress and communicate findings to the Physical Therapist
- Provide strengthening, balance, endurance, and functional mobility interventions
- Educate patients and caregivers regarding therapy techniques and home exercise programs
- Maintain accurate and timely treatment documentation
- Ensure patient safety during all therapy sessions
- Collaborate with therapists, nurses, physicians, and other healthcare professionals
- Support patients in achieving maximum functional independence and rehabilitation goals
