Description

Key Responsibilities
  • Deliver physical therapy assistant services to patients within a long-term acute care hospital (LTACH) setting under the supervision of a licensed Physical Therapist
  • Implement individualized treatment plans addressing patient functional goals and rehabilitation needs
  • Document patient progress and clinical notes accurately using facility EMR (Protouch)
  • Collaborate with the interdisciplinary care team to support optimal patient outcomes
  • Adhere to facility dress code (navy blue scrubs) and all applicable policies and procedures
Required Qualifications
  • Active Physical Therapist Assistant (PTA) license valid in the state of Florida
  • Minimum 1 year of experience as a Physical Therapist Assistant
  • Ability to work a Monday-Friday day shift schedule (8:00 AM - 5:00 PM)
  • Proficiency or ability to quickly adapt to electronic medical record systems
Preferred Experience / Skills
  • Prior experience in a long-term acute care (LTACH) or acute care hospital setting
  • Familiarity with Protouch EMR
  • Experience working with medically complex patient populations
