Make a real difference as a travel PTA working in a hospital outpatient orthopedic setting in Lafayette, IN. Minimum Qualifications

  • Associate degree in Physical Therapist Assistant from an accredited program.
  • Active Indiana PTA license required prior to the start of the assignment.
  • BLS certification from AHA or ARC required.
  • Minimum 1 year of clinical experience, with outpatient orthopedics experience required.
  • Experience treating post-operative knee, hip, and shoulder patients and managing low back/neck pain.
  • Experience with EMR systems; experience with Epic preferred.
  • Experience using therapeutic equipment including electrical stimulation, ultrasound, Hivamat, laser, AlterG, or Vector is preferred.


Preferred Qualifications

  • Training or proven skills in manual therapy techniques preferred.
  • Previous experience working with adult ortho and neuro patient populations preferred.


Assignment Details

  • Shift hours: 08:30–17:00.
  • Scheduled days: Monday through Friday.
  • Typical weekly hours: approximately 36 hours per week.
  • Patient ratio typically 1:1 in outpatient sessions.
  • EMR: Epic.
