Position Description
We are seeking a compassionate and motivated Physical Therapist Assistant (PTA) for a 13-week contract assignment in a Skilled Nursing Facility (SNF) in Framingham, MA. In this role, you will work under the direction of a Physical Therapist to provide high-quality rehabilitation services that support patient recovery, improve mobility, and maximize functional independence.
You will collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to implement individualized treatment plans and help patients achieve meaningful outcomes while maintaining quality care standards.
Key Responsibilities:
- Assist with implementation of individualized treatment plans developed by the Physical Therapist
- Deliver therapeutic exercises and rehabilitation interventions
- Monitor patient response and communicate progress to supervising PT
- Educate patients and caregivers on exercises and mobility strategies
- Maintain timely and accurate documentation
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to support continuity of care
