Job Details
- Position Description: Implements treatment plans, assists with therapeutic interventions such as posture training, strengthening, balance exercises, and provides patient education. Trains patients in the use of assistive devices and demonstrates modalities like ultrasound and whirlpools.
- Required Qualifications: Degree in Physical Therapist Assisting from an accredited school, CAPTE certification, 1+ years of outpatient clinical experience, CPR certification, active applicable license for the state, and a minimum of 1 year of experience.
- Schedule: Days shift, 8 hours per day, minimum 40 hours per week.
- Additional Information: The role involves maintaining safety standards, documenting patient progress, educating patients and families, and participating in team conferences and quality improvement initiatives. Engagement in safety protocols and infection control practices is essential.
- Preferred Qualifications: Prior assignment with the agency or facility is highly desired, with previous experience at the organization considered a plus.
