Job Summary

Provide skilled physical therapy treatments under the direction and supervision of a licensed Physical Therapist. Assist patients in improving mobility, strength, function, and overall quality of life while delivering compassionate, evidence-based care in an outpatient orthopedic setting.

Responsibilities
Administer physical therapy treatment plans developed by the supervising Physical Therapist
Assist patients with therapeutic exercises and functional mobility training
Monitor patient progress and communicate updates to the Physical Therapist
Educate patients on prescribed home exercise programs
Maintain accurate and timely clinical documentation
Ensure a safe and positive treatment environment
Collaborate with the rehabilitation team to support optimal patient outcomes
Required Qualifications
Active Physical Therapist Assistant (PTA) License
Graduate of an accredited Physical Therapist Assistant program
Current BLS/CPR Certification (if required)
Preferred Qualifications
Outpatient orthopedic experience
Strong therapeutic exercise and patient care skills
Experience with EMR documentation
