Description

American Traveler is seeking a Physical Therapist for an inpatient rehab unit, requiring 2+ years of experience and BLS certification.

Details

• Inpatient Rehab unit within a 30-bed hospital setting
• Interdisciplinary team includes PT, OT, SLP, and Tech staff
• Day shift only, 8:00 AM - 5:00 PM
• Patient ratio of 7:1
• Uses Meditech (Expanse) for documentation
• Weekend call rotation required
• Typical gym equipment includes balance and gait systems

Requirements

• Minimum 2 years of recent clinical experience required
• BLS certification required
• License required if applicable
• No employment gaps of 90+ days within the past 12 months

Additional Information

• Responsibilities include patient evaluations, ADLs, transfers, gait training, therapeutic exercise, functional training, and patient/family education
• Supports a new hospital and unit startup
• Scrub color requirement: light gray
• Candidates must live outside a 50-mile radius of the facility; no local candidates accepted
