Description

American Traveler is seeking a Physical Therapist for a 13-week travel assignment in an inpatient rehab unit, requiring 2+ years of experience and BLS certification.

Details

  • Inpatient rehab unit within a hospital setting
  • 30-bed unit with 22 staff including PT, OT, SLP, and Techs
  • Patient ratio of 7:1
  • Day shift only, 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM, 40 hours per week
  • Weekend rotation call requirement
  • Uses Meditech Expanse for documentation
  • Typical IPR gym equipment including balance and gait systems
  • New hospital and unit start-up

Requirements

  • Minimum 2 years of recent physical therapy experience
  • BLS certification required
  • SNF experience accepted
  • License required if applicable
  • Experience with patient evaluations, ADLs, transfers, gait training, therapeutic exercise, and functional training
  • No employment gaps of 90+ days within the past 12 months
  • US SSN and DOB required for consideration
  • One professional reference required (two required for Florida and Missouri candidates)
