Key Responsibilities

• Provide acute inpatient physical therapy services across Emergency Department and Med/Surg areas
• Manage a caseload of 8–10 patients per day
• Treat patients with case types including total joints, CVA, CHF, COPD, and sepsis
• Interpret and apply lab values and pathology findings to guide treatment decisions
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary care teams to coordinate patient care and discharge planning
• Work alongside PTAs to deliver comprehensive therapy services

Required Qualifications

• Active Arizona Physical Therapist (PT) license in hand at time of start
• AHA Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required
• Minimum of one year of clinical experience outside of clinical rotations/internships
• Demonstrated understanding of pathology and lab value interpretation
• Strong interdisciplinary communication skills

Preferred Experience / Skills

• Prior experience in an acute inpatient hospital setting
• Experience treating complex medical case types such as CVA, CHF, COPD, and post-surgical total joint patients
