Key Responsibilities
Provide direct patient care to individuals with neuromuscular, orthopedic, and other physically-related disorders
Deliver a variety of therapeutic interventions including ADL retraining, therapeutic exercise programs, manual therapy, therapeutic activities, aquatic therapy, and neuromuscular re-education
Provide patient education in home safety, adaptive equipment, and compensation techniques
Participate in documentation, program development, and enhancement of clinical skills
Float to other areas and sites as needed and demonstrate flexibility with scheduling including weekends, holidays, and after hours
Required Qualifications
Active Physical Therapist license from a participating state in the National Licensure Compact
Basic Life Support (BLS) certification
Dry Needling Certification required only if performing dry needling functions (certification or equivalent education accepted)
Must be available and present in state for the full week of orientation
Valid driver's license required
Preferred Experience / Skills
Previous experience providing direct patient care in an outpatient, inpatient, or inpatient rehabilitation setting
Prior experience using electronic medical records (EMR) systems
