Schedule / Job Type
Contract | Travel | Days | 13 Weeks | Monday–Friday, 8-hour day shifts with every 4th weekend expected
Key Responsibilities
Provide physical therapy services within an Acute Rehabilitation Unit (ARU) setting
Evaluate and treat patients with a variety of diagnoses requiring inpatient rehabilitation
Document patient care and progress using facility EMR systems (Cerner; transitioning to Epic)
Collaborate with interdisciplinary team members to develop and implement individualized treatment plans
May be required to float to Med/Surg and Acute Care units as needed
Required Qualifications
Active Physical Therapist (PT) license required (or eligibility to practice in Rhode Island)
Minimum 1 year of experience as a Physical Therapist
Proficiency or ability to learn Cerner and Epic EMR platforms
Background in Acute Care or Skilled Nursing Facility (SNF) settings
Comfort with floating to varied inpatient units including Med/Surg
