Key Responsibilities

• Perform physical therapy evaluations and treatments across inpatient and outpatient settings
• Provide care in inpatient settings including acute, ICU, Med/Surg, observation, SNF, and occasionally OB units
• Deliver extensive outpatient physical therapy services through a hospital-based outpatient PT clinic
• Manage a full daily schedule of inpatient and outpatient visits, ranging from 5 to 15 patients per day with appointments every 30–45 minutes and one-hour slots for new evaluations
• Support acute to SNF inpatient mobility progression and participate in discharge planning

Required Qualifications

• Active Hawaii Physical Therapist license (or ability to obtain promptly)
• Experience treating a broad range of outpatient diagnoses independently
• Competency in inpatient settings including ICU, acute care, and SNF environments
• Strong knowledge of discharge planning processes
• Ability to work independently in a rural healthcare setting

Preferred Experience / Skills

• Prior experience in a rural or critical access hospital environment
• Familiarity with OB unit physical therapy needs
• Experience managing high-volume, mixed inpatient and outpatient caseloads
