    Job Title: Physical Therapist Profession: Physical Therapist Specialty: - Duration: Direct Hire Shift: Days Hours per Shift: 8:00 AM - 5:00 PM Experience: 0 - 6 months related experience License: Valid State Licensure or Temporary Letter of Authorization to practice Physical Therapy Certifications: - Must-Have: Graduation from an accredited school of Physical Therapy Description: Provides clinical patient care by initiating and administering appropriate treatment. Progresses patient treatment as appropriate. Carries patient load that reflects productivity standards. Evaluates patients accurately. Plans appropriate treatment and sets functional goals. Revises and progresses treatment program as goals are met. Provides instruction to patients and/or family members, as well as other healthcare providers. Maintains appropriate treatment records. Completes accurate daily patient charges. Completes patient records in a timely manner, accurately reflecting the time spent and procedures performed. Maintains technical expertise through attendance and participation in continuing education activities. Assists with daily responsibilities as appropriate. Schedules and prioritizes daily work assignments. Delegates patients to support personnel as appropriate. Assists with training of new employees. Follows care path guidelines for patient/family education and documentation of home programs. Supports an effective working relationship with patients, customers, and healthcare professionals. Engages in activities that require adaptability and effective communication skills.
