    Key Responsibilities
    • Conduct comprehensive evaluations of assigned patients and develop, implement, and modify individualized treatment plans in alignment with patient goals and physician direction
    • Complete medical record documentation in a clear, concise, accurate, and timely manner, including goal writing, functional quality indicator assessments, letters of medical necessity, and charge entry in compliance with state, federal, and payer guidelines
    • Design functional treatment programs to support effective patient return to community activities, progressing patients toward discharge within an established length of stay
    • Delegate and direct discipline-specific therapy services for assigned patients
    • Participate in student clinical programs as assigned, providing supervision, developing learning objectives, and completing student evaluations
    • Adhere to discipline-specific state practice acts, regulatory requirements, and professional codes of conduct while maintaining licensure in good standing
    Required Qualifications
    • Active Physical Therapist license in good standing in the state of Iowa
    • Ability to perform comprehensive patient evaluations using a 60-minute eval and 45-minute treatment session format
    • Competency in medical record documentation, goal writing, and compliance with state and federal guidelines
    • Commitment to patient and employee safety standards, including safe patient handling and infection control practices
    • Completion of all state-mandated continuing education requirements
    Preferred Experience / Skills
    • Prior experience in an outpatient physical therapy setting
    • Experience supervising or mentoring PT students in a clinical environment
    • Demonstrated involvement in professional development activities, continuing education, or professional organizations
