    Key Responsibilities
    • Complete comprehensive evaluations of assigned patients and develop, implement, and modify individualized treatment plans in accordance with patient needs and physician direction.
    • Collaborate with an interdisciplinary team to address barriers to discharge, including equipment trialing and ordering, patient and family training, home exercise program development, and coordination of continuing services.
    • Effectively manage individual, concurrent, and group treatment sessions based on patient care needs while demonstrating flexibility in caseload management.
    • Complete accurate and timely medical record documentation including daily notes, goal writing, functional quality indicator assessments, letters of medical necessity, discharge documentation, and charge entry in compliance with state, federal, and intermediary guidelines.
    • Participate in student programs as assigned, providing appropriate supervision, developing learning objectives, and completing student evaluations.
    • Adhere to discipline-specific state practice acts and regulatory requirements, and actively participate in professional development through continuing education and professional activities.
    Required Qualifications
    • Active and unrestricted Physical Therapist license in the state of Florida in good standing.
    • Ability to perform comprehensive patient evaluations and develop clinically reasoned treatment plans and goals focused on functional outcomes and timely discharge.
    • Proficiency in medical record documentation in compliance with state, federal, and payer guidelines.
    • Knowledge of and adherence to discipline-specific professional codes of conduct and state practice acts.
    • Commitment to patient and employee safety standards, including safe patient handling and infection control practices.
    Preferred Experience / Skills
    • Experience working in an inpatient rehabilitation or acute care hospital setting.
    • Prior experience supervising or mentoring Physical Therapy students.
    • Demonstrated involvement in professional organizations, continuing education, or community advocacy efforts.
