    Key Responsibilities
    • Evaluate and treat patients for physical therapy and rehabilitation programs, implementing individualized care plans to improve mobility, function, and strength
    • Utilize Electronic Medical Record (EMR) system to complete evaluations, progress notes, reports, and discharge summaries
    • Guide, monitor, and document all aspects of patient care including follow-up regarding prescriptions, test results, and authorizations
    • Supervise PT Assistants and Aides in all aspects of patient care
    • Communicate and coordinate with physicians, front office staff, and other healthcare personnel to ensure quality patient care
    • Adhere to HIPAA privacy policies and maintain familiarity with PT billing procedures including ICD-10 coding, Medicare, workers' compensation, and other payer types
    Required Qualifications
    • Active Physical Therapist license in the state of California (or plans to obtain licensure in the near future)
    • Degree in Physical Therapy
    • Proficiency with EMR systems and general computer skills including typing, Microsoft Word, and internet applications
    • Ability to lift up to 50 pounds and assist patients with transfers, mobility, and ambulation safety
    • Ability to remain physically mobile throughout 8–10 hour workdays, including prolonged standing, walking, and stool sitting
    Preferred Experience / Skills
    • Continuing education coursework relevant to physical therapy practice
    • Familiarity with outpatient or rehabilitation clinic environments
    • Experience with business marketing and referral processes in a clinical setting
