    Key Responsibilities
    • Complete comprehensive evaluations of assigned patients and develop, implement, and modify individualized treatment plans in accordance with patient needs, goals, and physician direction
    • Perform 60-minute evaluations and treatments, progressing patients toward discharge within an established length of stay
    • Complete accurate and timely medical record documentation including goal writing, functional quality indicator assessments, letters of medical necessity, and charge entry in compliance with state, federal, and intermediary guidelines
    • Delegate and direct discipline-specific therapy services for assigned patients, ensuring care is provided under valid physician orders and within insurance approvals
    • Serve as an educator for patients, families, students, and coworkers; participate in student programs by providing supervision, developing learning objectives, and completing student evaluations
    • Adhere to discipline-specific State Practice Act and regulatory requirements while actively pursuing professional development through continuing education and professional organizations
    Required Qualifications
    • Active and unrestricted Physical Therapist license in good standing in the state of Texas
    • Ability to perform comprehensive patient evaluations and develop evidence-based treatment plans
    • Proficiency in medical record documentation in compliance with state, federal, and payer guidelines
    • Knowledge of and adherence to discipline-specific State Practice Act and professional code of conduct
    • Commitment to patient and employee safety standards including safe patient handling and infection control protocols
    Preferred Experience / Skills
    • Prior experience in an outpatient physical therapy setting
    • Experience supervising or mentoring physical therapy students
    • Familiarity with performance improvement methodologies and quality initiatives
