Opportunity:
OT - ARU (Acute Rehabilitation Unit)
Job Details:
• Day shift position on the 2nd floor Inpatient Acute Rehabilitation Unit
• Weekend requirement: Every other weekend
• Patient ratio: 5-6 patients per therapist
• 11-bed unit serving adult and geriatric patient population
• Float requirements between LTAC and ARU as needed
• Must call at least 4 hours prior to shift to report a cancellation
• Common diagnoses and treatments include CVA, respiratory conditions, cardiac conditions, amputations, fractures, and joint replacements
• Must have experience with assessments and individualized treatment plans
• Inpatient and acute care experience preferred
• All specialties are welcome to apply
• Equipment used includes TENs, Ergometer, Parallel bars, and Omnicycle
• Electronic health record systems: Net Health, PRO Doc, and Pro Touch
• Must be team oriented and solution based
• Scrub color: Navy Blue (Casual business attire permitted, no blue jeans)
• Education requirements per license
• Normal license requirements apply
