    Key Responsibilities
    • Screen, evaluate, and rehabilitate patients with physical functioning disorders and/or wound care needs, developing appropriate plans of care in accordance with regulatory and clinical practice standards.
    • Administer rehabilitation procedures including manual techniques, therapeutic exercises, ambulation, modalities, use of supportive and assistive devices, and wound care.
    • Assess and document patient progress, adjust treatment plans accordingly, and evaluate treatment outcomes for effectiveness in the electronic documentation system.
    • Provide consultation and counseling to patients, families, caregivers, and other service providers related to physical disorders.
    • Communicate effectively with supervisors and the health care team regarding patient progress, barriers, and treatment plans, and provide comprehensive discharge summaries.
    • Supervise and support physical therapist assistants, rehabilitation aides, and/or students as needed, and participate in required meetings, trainings, and in-services.
    Required Qualifications
    • Active Missouri State Physical Therapist license required.
    • Minimum of 1 year of physical therapy experience required.
    • Long-term care (LTC) or rehabilitation setting experience required.
    • Adherence to APTA and state-required practice acts, code of conduct, and ethics.
    • Ability to accurately record treatment minutes and maintain patient records per regulatory and clinical requirements.
    Preferred Experience / Skills
    • New graduates with a completed Level II clinical experience (not solely Level I observation) will be considered.
    • Experience utilizing standardized assessments and evidence-based practice to support clinical interventions.
    • Familiarity with electronic documentation systems for clinical recordkeeping.
