    Key Responsibilities
    • Complete comprehensive evaluations of assigned patients and develop, implement, and modify individualized treatment plans in alignment with patient needs, goals, and physician direction
    • Maintain clear, concise, and timely medical record documentation including goal writing, functional quality indicator assessments, letters of medical necessity, and charge entry in compliance with state, federal, and payer guidelines
    • Delegate and direct discipline-specific therapy services for assigned patients, ensuring functional treatment programs support effective return to community activities
    • Serve as an educator for patients, families, students, and coworkers; participate in student programs by providing supervision, developing learning objectives, and completing student evaluations
    • Adhere to discipline-specific State Practice Act and all applicable regulatory requirements; maintain professional licensure in good standing and fulfill continuing education requirements
    • Contribute to organizational performance improvement initiatives and apply professional development learnings to support strategic objectives
    Required Qualifications
    • Active and unrestricted Physical Therapist (PT) license in the state of Maine
    • Compliance with all state-mandated continuing education requirements
    • Ability to practice in accordance with discipline-specific professional codes of conduct and ethical standards
    • Demonstrated competency in safe patient handling, documentation standards, and evidence-based clinical reasoning
    Preferred Experience / Skills
    • Prior experience in an outpatient physical therapy setting
    • Experience supervising or mentoring physical therapy students
    • Familiarity with functional quality indicators and insurance authorization processes
