Contract | Travel | 13-Week Assignment | Full-Time | Onsite | Day Shift | 8:00 AM – 4:30 PM
Key Responsibilities
- Perform physical therapy evaluations and treatments for inpatient acute care patients across all hospital floors
- Manage a caseload of approximately 9–10 patients per day while meeting a 75% productivity standard
- Utilize mobility equipment and other therapeutic tools appropriate to patient needs
- Document patient care accurately and in a timely manner using the Meditech EMR system
- Work collaboratively with a multidisciplinary team including OT and SLP staff
- Adhere to facility scheduling policies, including rotating every other weekend and holiday coverage
Required Qualifications
- Valid Florida Physical Therapist (PT) license
- Master of Physical Therapy (MPT) or Doctor of Physical Therapy (DPT) degree from an accredited college or university
- Minimum of 1 year of acute care experience
- Strong communication skills and ability to work collaboratively in a team environment
Preferred Experience / Skills
- Prior experience with Meditech EMR
- ICU experience in an acute care setting
