    Travel Physical Therapist

    Location

    Port Charlotte, Florida

    Schedule / Job Type

    Contract | Travel | 13-Week Assignment | Full-Time | Onsite | Day Shift | 8:00 AM – 4:30 PM

    Key Responsibilities
    • Perform physical therapy evaluations and treatments for inpatient acute care patients across all hospital floors
    • Manage a caseload of approximately 9–10 patients per day while meeting a 75% productivity standard
    • Utilize mobility equipment and other therapeutic tools appropriate to patient needs
    • Document patient care accurately and in a timely manner using the Meditech EMR system
    • Work collaboratively with a multidisciplinary team including OT and SLP staff
    • Adhere to facility scheduling policies, including rotating every other weekend and holiday coverage
    Required Qualifications
    • Valid Florida Physical Therapist (PT) license
    • Master of Physical Therapy (MPT) or Doctor of Physical Therapy (DPT) degree from an accredited college or university
    • Minimum of 1 year of acute care experience
    • Strong communication skills and ability to work collaboratively in a team environment
    Preferred Experience / Skills
    • Prior experience with Meditech EMR
    • ICU experience in an acute care setting
