Schedule / Job Type

Contract | 13 Weeks | Days | 8:00 AM – 5:00 PM | Every Other Weekend | Expected 32 hours/week

Key Responsibilities

• Provide physical therapy evaluation and treatment services within an Acute Rehabilitation Unit serving patients aged 18 and older
• Manage a patient caseload with a 1:6 therapist-to-patient ratio, focusing on orthopedic and neurological diagnoses
• Utilize rehabilitation equipment including FWW with platform attachments, rollator, hemi walker, Hoyer lift, sit-to-stand, and bariatric equipment
• Document patient care accurately using the Epic electronic health record system
• Float to alternate units (Med/Surg, CSD, ICU) on an occasional basis per reciprocal staffing agreement with a partner facility

Required Qualifications

• Graduate degree in Physical Therapy required: MSPT or DPT
• Active and unrestricted Physical Therapist (PT) license valid in the state of Kansas
• Minimum of 1 year of Physical Therapy experience
• Ability to work every other weekend as part of the regular schedule

Preferred Experience / Skills

• Prior experience in an inpatient rehabilitation setting
• Familiarity with orthopedic and neurological patient populations
