Key Responsibilities
Provide physical therapy services across both inpatient and outpatient care settings as a float therapist
Assess, plan, and implement individualized treatment programs for patients across assigned units
Collaborate with interdisciplinary care teams to support patient recovery and functional goals
Maintain accurate and timely clinical documentation in accordance with facility standards
Float to sister facilities nearby the contracted location as operationally needed
Commit to working 3 of the 5 designated holidays: Thanksgiving, Christmas Eve, Christmas Day, New Year's Eve, and New Year's Day
Required Qualifications
Active Physical Therapist license valid in California; compact license must be in hand at time of submission
Minimum of 1 year of Physical Therapist experience required
Must submit 2 professional references covering at least 1 year of experience within the last 3 years
Background must be clear of hits; facility does not accept background discrepancies
All requested time off and scheduling needs must be disclosed upfront at the time of submission — post-offer RTO requests may not be considered
Must live at least 50 miles from the facility to be eligible (locals may be considered at a different rate)
Preferred Experience / Skills
Experience working in both inpatient and outpatient rehabilitation settings
Familiarity with float or multi-unit therapy assignments
Prior experience in a health system or large facility environment
