    Oxnard, CA | Inpatient / Outpatient

    Schedule / Job Type

    Contract | Days | 8-hour shifts, 8:00 AM – 4:30 PM | Onsite | Weekend and holiday rotation required

    Key Responsibilities
    • Provide physical therapy services in assigned inpatient or outpatient setting, determined at time of hire
    • Inpatient coverage areas may include general inpatient, rehabilitation, and sub-acute units; patient populations include orthopedic, neurological, surgical, bariatric, cardiac, ICU, spinal cord injuries, stroke, and brain injury cases
    • Outpatient coverage may be provided at a freestanding ortho/sports medicine clinic or an outpatient clinic serving orthopedic, neurological, pediatric, and lymphedema patients
    • Document patient care and treatment progress using Cerner EMR
    • Participate in weekend rotation (every Saturday or every Sunday) and holiday rotation with permanent staff
    • Complete facility-specific orientation consisting of 3 shifts prior to independent practice
    Required Qualifications
    • Active Physical Therapist (PT) license in the state of California
    • BLS certification required
    • Minimum of 2 years of clinical experience as a Physical Therapist
    • Proficiency or ability to work with Cerner EMR
    • Ability to work weekend rotation and holiday shifts as scheduled
    Preferred Experience / Skills
    • Experience treating a diverse patient population including orthopedic, neurological, pediatric, and complex medical/surgical cases
    • Prior experience in both inpatient rehabilitation and outpatient clinical settings
    • Familiarity with sub-acute patient populations, including ventilator-dependent and long-term care patients
