    Key Responsibilities
    • Complete comprehensive evaluations of assigned patients and develop, implement, and modify individualized treatment plans in accordance with patient needs, goals, and physician direction
    • Conduct 60-minute evaluations and treatment sessions, progressing patients toward discharge within an established length of stay
    • Complete medical record documentation in a clear, concise, accurate, and timely manner including goal writing, functional quality indicator assessments, letters of medical necessity, and charge entry in compliance with state, federal, and intermediary guidelines
    • Delegate and direct discipline-specific therapy services for assigned patients, ensuring care is provided under signed, valid physician orders and within insurance approvals
    • Serve as an educator to patients, families, students, and coworkers; participate in student programs by providing supervision, developing learning objectives, and completing student evaluations as assigned
    • Adhere to discipline-specific State Practice Act and all applicable regulatory requirements, maintaining professional licensure in good standing
    Required Qualifications
    • Active and unrestricted Physical Therapist license in the state of Texas
    • Completion of all state-mandated continuing education requirements
    • Ability to perform comprehensive patient evaluations and develop evidence-based treatment plans
    • Proficiency in medical record documentation in compliance with state and federal guidelines
    • Commitment to patient and employee safety standards including safe patient handling and infection control practices
    Preferred Experience / Skills
    • Prior experience in an outpatient physical therapy setting
    • Experience supervising or mentoring physical therapy students
    • Demonstrated involvement in continuing education, professional organizations, or self-directed professional development
