Physical Therapist – Inpatient (Travel Contract)

Schedule / Job Type

Contract | Travel | Days | Full-Time | 12 Weeks | Monday–Friday with 1 weekend shift per month | Shift start flexible between 7:00 AM–8:00 AM, end 4:00 PM–5:00 PM

Key Responsibilities

• Perform physical therapy evaluations and treatments on inpatient units within a 330-bed acute care facility
• Manage a caseload of approximately 10 patients per 8-hour day across inpatient units and the Emergency Department (excluding NICU)
• Utilize basic rehab equipment including portable parallel bars, portable stairs, Sara Stedy, ceiling lifts, and hyper lifts
• Document patient care using the Sunrise Allscripts documentation system
• Collaborate within a multidisciplinary team including PT, OT, ST, and Therapy Director
• Maintain a valid New Hampshire Physical Therapy License — must be in hand at time of submittal

Required Qualifications

• Active New Hampshire Physical Therapy License — required and must be in hand at time of submittal
• BLS Certification
• Minimum 2 years of physical therapy experience
• Acute care experience, with exposure to cardiac, vascular, and orthopedic patient populations

Preferred Experience / Skills

• Vestibular rehabilitation experience
• Experience working across multiple inpatient settings and the Emergency Department
• Familiarity with Sunrise Allscripts or similar electronic documentation systems
