Physical Therapist – Inpatient (Travel Contract)

Contract | Travel | Days | Full-Time | 8-Week Assignment | Shift start between 7:00 AM–8:00 AM, end between 4:00 PM–5:00 PM | Expected schedule Monday through Friday with 1 weekend shift per month
Key Responsibilities
- Perform physical therapy evaluations and treatments on inpatient units within a 330-bed acute care facility
- Manage an expected caseload of approximately 10 patients per 8-hour day
- Treat a high volume and wide variety of patients, with an emphasis on cardiac, vascular, and orthopedic diagnoses
- Float to cover all inpatient units as well as the Emergency Department as needed (NICU excluded)
- Document patient care using the Sunrise Allscripts electronic documentation system
- Collaborate within a multidisciplinary therapy team including PT, OT, ST, and a Therapy Director
Required Qualifications
- Active New Hampshire Physical Therapy License — must be in hand at time of submittal
- BLS Certification required
- Minimum 2 years of physical therapy experience
- Acute care inpatient experience required
Preferred Experience / Skills
- Vestibular experience preferred but not required
- Familiarity with rehabilitation equipment such as portable parallel bars, portable stairs, Sara Stedy, ceiling lifts, and hyper lifts
- Experience with Sunrise Allscripts or similar electronic documentation systems
