Opportunity:
Physical Therapist
Job Details:
• 8-hour day shifts from 8:00 AM to 4:00 PM
• 40 guaranteed hours per week
• Weekend hours as needed
• No call requirements
• Patient ratio of 5 to 6 patients
• Work with a wide variety of neurological and rehabilitative diagnoses including CVA, Parkinson's, Spinal Cord Injury, TBI, Orthopedics, Cardiopulmonary, Amputee, and Medically Complex patients
• Assume responsibility and accountability for the care of patients treated by Physical Therapist Assistants and Therapy Techs
• Assess patient needs and identify and initiate appropriate physical therapy interventions
• Work cooperatively with patient care team to maintain standards for professional physical therapy practice and interdisciplinary teamwork
• Observe and evaluate treatment effectiveness and accomplishment of short- and long-term goals
• Recommend changes to physician as needed
• Utilize Wellsky EHR system
• Operate therapeutic equipment
• Must be a cooperative team player
• Bachelor's Degree required
• Current state licensure as a Physical Therapist required
• Current BLS/CPR certification required
• Effective oral and written communication skills in English required; additional languages preferred but not required
• Navy blue scrubs required
