    Key Responsibilities
    • Provide physical therapy services to patients across assigned caseload with a staffing ratio of 1:14
    • Deliver rehabilitative care with a focus on functional recovery and patient progress
    • Work 8 weekend shifts per contract period as part of the standard schedule
    • Participate in facility orientation, including completion of required training modules
    • Be prepared to serve on an Emergency Team if assigned by unit manager during emergency events, which may require remaining at the facility until the event passes or serving on a relief team
    Required Qualifications
    • Active Physical Therapist license in Louisiana (compact or LA state license required in hand at time of submittal)
    • BLS certification (AHA required)
    • Minimum 2 years of experience as a Physical Therapist
    • Must live more than 65 miles from the facility (as measured from the address on your driver's license to the facility address) — local travelers are not accepted
    • No call-ins permitted; reliability and attendance are strictly required
    • Candidates with a pending license must apply for Allied Health licensure within 72 hours of signing
    • Must have been separated from this health system for at least 1 full year if previously employed as permanent staff or in-house agency contractor
    Preferred Experience / Skills
    • Experience in trauma, stroke, or ICU settings
